Before we begin, let us discuss what the heck “drop shipping” is. I have been researching it for a while and the definitions mostly sound confusing. So, here is a good explanation, “A dropshipping company buys inventory directly from a manufacturer and stores it in their warehouse. As a client of the dropshipping company, they allow you to sell whatever products they have. If you sell something, you pay the dropshipper for the product plus shipping, and they ship it to your customer for you.”

See? Is that not nice and clear? So, you are paying the company to help you. “When you use a dropshipper, you are paying for the convenience of not having to deal with inventory yourself. Typically you end up paying a lot more for the products you are selling and a lot of times you have to pay additional shipping & handling fees, dropship fees, and possibly a monthly membership fee just to use their program.”

There are a handful of companies that are successful drop shipping companies. One of them is Sellvia.com, which received a 9.95 out of 10 according to customer reviews. 

Another successful company is Doba.com. This drop shipping company received a 9.68 out of 10. It is not as good as Dropship Design, even though it is a good starting place, “Many of the products are high priced, making it difficult to make a profit.”

DropShippers.com has several “advanced tools,” This company accepts only credit cards. It got a 9.32 out of 10, “DropShippers.com is a great service for someone who knows what they are doing, but is not a good introductory option.”

Another prominent website is Wholesale2b. The review site gave it a 9.18 out of 10. The website is a good start, but not the best,“Wholesale2b is a good service if you want to get started quickly.”

Shopster is next on the list of top 10. It got an 8.9 out of 10. It costs more than other websites do. The website’s “interface is easy to navigate through.”

What matters is that you have to find a website that is easy to use and does not rip you off. This is a difficult task as more and more drop shipping companies form and be part of the business. So, you have to be careful. Look up companies online. There are many websites that rank the services of each company and give you a good idea of where you should go and what you should do with each business. Drop shipping can be a very profitable business, so definitely give it a shot!
